स्टारमर का ऐलान: ‘ब्रिटेन का झंडा कभी नफरत की ताक़तों को नहीं सौंपेंगे’
ब्रिटेन के प्रधानमंत्री कीयर स्टारमर ने लंदन में हुई हिंसक फार-राइट प्रदर्शन की निंदा की। बोले—यूनियन जैक विविधता और सम्मान का प्रतीक है, इसे डर और नफरत फैलाने वालों को नहीं सौंपेंगे।
लंदन की सड़कों पर शनिवार को फार-राइट संगठनों के बैनर तले हजारों लोग जुटे। यह रैली विवादित नेता टॉमी रॉबिनसन (Stephen Yaxley-Lennon) के नेतृत्व में “Unite the Kingdom” के नाम से निकाली गई थी।
रैली के दौरान इमिग्रेशन विरोधी नारेबाज़ी हुई और कुछ प्रदर्शनकारियों की पुलिस से झड़प भी हुई।
रिपोर्टों के मुताबिक—
• 26 पुलिसकर्मी घायल हुए।
• 24 प्रदर्शनकारी गिरफ्तार किए गए।
प्रधानमंत्री कीयर स्टारमर ने इस हिंसा की कड़ी निंदा करते हुए कहा—
“ब्रिटेन एक ऐसा राष्ट्र है जो सहनशीलता, विविधता और सम्मान पर गर्व करता है। हमारा झंडा हमारी विविधता का प्रतीक है। हम इसे कभी भी उन लोगों के हाथ में नहीं जाने देंगे जो इसे हिंसा, डर और नफरत का प्रतीक बनाना चाहते हैं।”
